DESCRIPTION: In this session, Dr. Kathy Schilling from Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Florida will share her innovative technique for CEM Biopsy developed during a COVID-19 inflicted supply shortage. Her technique allows for direct correlation of MRI breast findings to CEM-guided biopsy, realizing both clinical and financial benefits for her facility and patients. Attendees will learn the steps, time, and costs involved in performing an MRI breast biopsy and the necessity of finding alternative methods. Dr. Schilling will present multiple case examples to demonstrate the direct correlation of MRI findings to CEM-biopsy without additional imaging.
