Pamela (Pam) has extensive experience in mammography from positioning techniques to information technology. Her background includes working with companies such as Xerox, Hologic, Agfa, Kodak and Carestream in research and development with mammography products. She has been on the design team for improvements on film, mammography systems, and workstations. She has given mammography seminars across the US, Mexico, Canada, Italy and Saudi Arabia. Pam participated as a Positioning Lab Leader in the Quality, Care and Commitment seminars with Louise Miller. She has edited the book, “Mammography Quality Control – The Why and How Book” by Cal Myers, PhD and produced the movie, “Quality Control for the Technologist”.
Pam is a past president of the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists. She will serve in the role of Mammography Delegate for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists through 2024. She has donated hours to the American Society of Radiologic Technology leading mammography positioning classes and seminars. Pam has also donated time to the Indian Health Services to provide mammography classes for the Federal Health Program for American Indians. She serves on the Board of the Independence Salvation Army Crossroads Shelter.
Pam lives in Independence, Missouri. She has two daughters that live nearby and six grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with them and being their “Noni”. She is a member of the Board of Directors at a local historical Victorian Mansion and gives tours of the house. She loves to make jewelry.
