Alexandria Richey

BREAST IMAGING CONSULTANT
Alexandria (Alex) is the Clinical Coordinator at Salinas Valley Health’s Nancy Ausonio Breast Health Center in Salinas, CA. Ms. Richey has been a Radiologic Technologist since 2014 and has previous experience as an adjunct faculty member for the Radiologic Technology program for Arizona Western College. She earned her mammography license in 2019 and is knowledgeable in screening and diagnostic mammography exams, as well as interventional mammography guided procedures, such as prone and upright, including lateral arm, stereotactic biopsies, and localizations and is experienced in Digital and 3D Breast Tomosynthesis Mammography. She has had involvement with protocol development and ongoing Quality Control. Finally, Alex is responsible for ACR accreditations and MQSA/CA state inspections.
Alex is a compassionate, understanding, and highly skilled breast imaging specialist. It is her personal mission to be intentional with her words and positioning techniques so that she may provide excellent care and support that is deserved by every patient. She strives to lead by example and focuses on helping others in her field to reach their potential, as well as expanding excellence in care to communities outside of her own. She is committed to being the positive change she wants to see in the world through dedication and integrity.
Alex lives in Hollister, CA with her husband, three young daughters, and one very plump cat. When she isn’t at work, she is busy getting her girls to their many dance classes or Girl Scout activities. During down time, she enjoys watching movies with her family, cooking, reading, and antiquing.
