BREAST IMAGING CONSULTANT
Ms. Erin Ferraro's career thus far has had a strong emphasis on teaching and leading teams, with experience managing over 75 Technologists and 14 Breast Radiologists.
In addition, she has managed 12 outpatient locations for Rhode Island Medical Imaging and was in charge of all MQSA and ACR accreditation. She was contracted by multiple facilities to help pass ACR accreditation and improve positioning.
She is a Master Trainer for stereotactic biopsies and creating technologist training programs. Erin has served in central roles for the design of two state-of-the-art breast imaging centers that have achieved the title of ACR Breast Centers of Excellence. She also has experience converting practices to DBT, as well as extensive policy and procedure experience.
Erin currently works as a Per Diem Mammography Technologist and is a Breast Imaging Consultant with Mammography Educators. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences from Rhode Island College, her Certificate in Mammography from Lifespan School of Medical Imaging, as well as her Masters in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University.
Erin resides in Smithfield, Rhode Island with her husband Jeff and daughter Addison. She loves to stay active and has been a group fitness instructor for nearly fifteen years. She enjoys traveling, reading, baking and time with her family and friends. She is excited by the opportunity to share her years of knowledge and expertise with amazing institutions around the country and beyond.
