Allen Goode, M.S., DABR and Patricia Gaspard, MHA, CRA, R.T.(R)(M) will share their experiences implementing and managing a paperless quality control system, focusing on important issues around standardization, communication, documentation, and the management of QC data.
Mr. Goode will discuss enterprise quality control at University of Virginia Health System (UVA) and his interests from a physics standpoint, including the implementation of QC-Track in mammography, where it happens Pat was the long-time mammography director.
Ms. Gaspard will walk you through her recent experience implementing a paperless QC system for MQSA, Credentials, and FDA EQUIP tracking at Northside Hospital System, where she deployed the paperless QC-Track system across a large network with 125 technologists, 30+ locations and 60+ DBT units.
Case studies will be included to help explain the process and impact of implementing the QC-Track system on all aspects of QC management. Mr. Goode and Ms. Gaspard will also provide insight into recent inspection priorities and quality control trends, as well as the inspection impact of a centralized quality control system.
